Dear Parents/Guardians, Welcome to term two! This term as part of our  Civics and Citizenship Education (CCE), we will be focusing on citizenship throughout an aspect of Australian history looking at the content descriptor; “How people with shared beliefs and values work together to achieve a civic goal  ( ACHASSK118  )”  (Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority [ACARA], 2019). To do this students will study the Australian 1967 referendum, exploring key features such as, the history of human rights for Indigenous Australians, how campaigns are built and the process involved in making a campaign successful, and the process for constitutional change.
